Based across Milton Keynes
£35,000 per annum plus company car

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our growing Central division overseeing a multisite contract for a local authority client.

You’ll be managing a team of cleaning operatives, ensuring their 40 sites are thoroughly supervised and that the specified standards are met and maintained to a high level. No two days will be the same. When you’re dealing with people there’s never a dull moment, and you’ll use your strong interpersonal skills to support and develop your team.

As an Account Manager you’ll be:

Maintaining strong client relationship with high levels of satisfaction
Providing and maintaining the quality-of-service delivery
Managing, recruiting, and coaching local service teams
Carrying out ad-hoc and regular activities such as projects, reports, audits as required by and to support the Operations Manager.
Be responsible for ensuring Health & Safety procedures and legislation is adhered to
Looking for opportunities for continuous improvement, cost savings and account growth.

As an Account Manager you’ll have:

Demonstratable experience managing Cleaning or Grounds contracts
Excellent interpersonal communication and people management skills
Excellent leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to forward plan, work under pressure and influence at a senior level
Working knowledge of Health and Safety systems
Ability to work to tight timescales
Strong commercial awareness, financial management, and IT literacy
