Full job description

Job Summary

We are a busy mail order company based in Sittingbourne (relocating to Queenborough) and are looking to employ an accounts clerk to help assist with the following.

Duties

- Provide assistance and support to the team in the accounts department

- Keeping financial records tidy and easy to find

- Assist with coding and posting invoices onto our accounting software

- Electronically sending invoices for approval, updating the software once approved and digitally saving these down

- Preparation of weekly BACs payments

- Reconciling Supplier Statements

- Assisting with the accounts e-mails on a daily basis

- Raising sales invoices

- Cashbook Reconciliation

Skills

- Good working knowledge of Outlook/Word/Excel

- Knowledge of both Sales & Purchase Ledgers not essential but beneficial

Pay: From £28,000.00 per year
