We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at GKG Vets on a part-time permanent basis.
At GKG Vets, we know that exceptional client care is just as important as outstanding veterinary care. We are a friendly, small animal practice dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our patients and their owners.
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.
You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.
Working Pattern
This is a part-time, permanent position working 24 hours per week:
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 1:00pm – 6:30pm
- Saturday: 8:00am – 12:30pm (1 in 4)
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming clients and their pets in a warm, friendly and professional manner.
- Answering telephone calls and responding to client enquiries efficiently and compassionately.
- Booking appointments and managing the appointment diary effectively.
- Processing payments and handling client accounts accurately.
- Supporting the clinical team with the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
- Maintaining accurate client and patient records.
- Assisting with general administrative duties to support the wider practice team.
- Providing excellent customer service and ensuring every client feels valued and supported.
