Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Solar Design & Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind promoting solar energy solutions, engaging with potential clients, and designing customized solar systems that meet their unique needs. Your enthusiasm for renewable energy combined with excellent communication skills will empower you to build strong relationships, close sales, and contribute to a sustainable future. This paid position, plus commission, offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales expertise while making a positive impact on the environment and community.

Responsibilities

Engage with prospective customers through B2B (business-to-business) and direct outreach to promote solar energy solutions
Conduct detailed site assessments and create accurate solar system designs tailored to client requirements using specialized IT tools
Present compelling proposals and explain technical details clearly to ensure customer understanding and confidence
Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts effectively to close sales while maintaining excellent customer service standards
Manage your schedule efficiently, ensuring timely follow-ups and appointments to maximize sales opportunities
Maintain organized records of client interactions, proposals, and project details using organizational skills and IT systems

Qualifications

Proven experience in customer service roles with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and persuasively
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Basic IT proficiency, including familiarity with CRM systems, design software, and scheduling tools
Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple client engagements efficiently
Knowledge of solar energy systems or renewable energy industry is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
