Location: London OR Newbury + Hybrid
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday

What you’ll do

As Finance Manager, you'll play a meaningful role in shaping the financial performance of a business undergoing a once-in-a-generation transformation. Working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, you'll provide trusted financial guidance, thoughtful challenge and valuable insights that help the business make informed decisions and achieve its ambitions. You'll combine commercial awareness with a collaborative approach, helping to create alignment, build strong partnerships and drive continuous improvement. Alongside supporting business performance, you'll nurture talent, encourage growth and contribute to an inclusive culture where people feel empowered to succeed.

You'll partner with Consumer leadership teams to manage Brand, Digital and Loyalty Opex budgets, helping teams achieve their financial objectives while creating long-term value.
You'll lead planning, forecasting and month-end activities, ensuring financial information is accurate, timely and easy to understand.
You'll bring together and consolidate Opex performance, providing clear analysis, meaningful insights and recommendations that support business decisions.
You'll work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify opportunities, manage risks and improve financial performance.
You'll provide supportive and constructive challenge, helping teams make informed choices and optimise investment decisions.
You'll build trusted relationships across the organisation, fostering alignment, transparency and shared accountability.
You'll develop a strong understanding of business performance and emerging trends, translating data into practical actions and opportunities.
You'll help maintain robust financial governance, ensuring clear variance analysis, risk management, synergy tracking and effective financial controls.
You'll collaborate with FP&A and wider finance teams to ensure a joined-up approach to planning, forecasting and reporting.
You'll coach, mentor and support a financial analyst, helping them develop their skills, confidence and career aspirations.
You'll contribute to finance projects and transformation initiatives, supporting the continued evolution of VodafoneThree.

Who you are

Experience in finance business partnering, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and performance management.
Strong analytical skills combined with the curiosity to explore trends, uncover insights and solve problems collaboratively.
Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively and inclusively with a wide range of stakeholders.
A confident yet approachable communication style, able to influence, guide and support others in a constructive way.
Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate financial information clearly and engagingly.
The ability to balance attention to detail with a broader strategic perspective.
A collaborative mindset that values partnership, knowledge-sharing and diverse viewpoints.
Experience leading, developing or mentoring others, with a genuine passion for supporting people to reach their potential.
