Job Overview
We are seeking a organised Conveyancing Assistant to join our legal team. This role involves supporting property transactions through administrative tasks, ensuring smooth communication between clients, solicitors, and external agencies. The ideal candidate will possess strong office experience, excellent organisational skills, and proficiency in various computer applications. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your legal administrative career within a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and organisation of conveyancing documentation and files
Manage correspondence with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other stakeholders via phone and email
Perform data entry tasks related to property transactions and maintain up-to-date records
Handle phone etiquette professionally, providing clear communication and support
Support the team with general administrative duties including filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
Ensure compliance with confidentiality and data protection policies at all times

Skills

Proven office experience with a solid understanding of administrative procedures
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks
Good phone etiquette with professional communication skills
Previous clerical experience within a legal or conveyancing environment is essential
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
