Full job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Clerk to join our the Everest Air finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building customer relationships, and contributing to the success of a growing business.

Responsibilities

Process customer invoices, accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
Investigate and resolve billing queries and invoice discrepancies, liaising with customers, vendors and internal departments as required.
Review and process invoices using AI-enabled systems and maintain accurate financial records.
Reconcile vendor statements and ensure all invoices and payments are correctly accounted for.
Meet daily and monthly finance deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Assist with audits, excise tax documentation and other compliance-related activities.
Provide administrative and operational support to the Finance team, including cover for colleagues when required.
Participate in training, team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives

Experience & Qualifications

Previous experience in an accounting, finance, bookkeeping, billing or administrative role.
Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Confident user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is desirable.
Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
