As our Business Development Executive, you'll play a key role in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective customers, and supporting our Business Development Managers to achieve ambitious growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Business Development Executive, you will:

Identify and research recruitment businesses that fit our ideal customer profile.
Generate new business opportunities through outbound telephone calls, emails, LinkedIn and other sales channels.
Qualify prospective customers to ensure they're suitable for our Business Development Managers.
Book high-quality appointments and allocate them to the appropriate Business Development Manager.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
Develop relationships with prospective customers and nurture opportunities through the sales journey.
Follow up inbound enquiries and marketing-generated leads promptly.
Conduct market research to identify new sectors and growth opportunities.
Work towards agreed activity and opportunity targets.
Collaborate closely with the Business Development Managers to ensure a seamless handover of qualified opportunities.

Other Responsibilities (role-specific or transactional tasks):

Maintain accurate records using HubSpot and other internal systems.
Keep up to date with our products, services and the recruitment industry.
Support sales and marketing campaigns.
Attend training sessions, team meetings and continuous development activities.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business.
Carry out any additional duties appropriate to the role as required.

About You:

Sales experience is preferred but not essential. If you have the right attitude, excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to build a career in business development, we'd love to hear from you.

We're looking for someone who is:

A confident and enthusiastic communicator.
Positive, self-motivated and eager to learn.
Organised with excellent attention to detail.
Comfortable speaking with people over the phone and building relationships.
Resilient, proactive and target driven.
Able to manage multiple priorities and stay organised.
A strong team player who enjoys working collaboratively.
Competent using Microsoft Office and willing to learn new systems such as HubSpot.
