Position: CNC Machinist (Milling or Turning)
Location: Near Reading
Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per annum (flexible based on experience)

We are looking for a talented CNC Machinist to become part of our experienced and supportive team in a modern, well-equipped workshop near Wimbledon. This full-time, permanent position involves both CNC and manual machining to create high-precision components. If you have experience with HAAS, Fanuc, or Hurco and can handle both CNC and manual operations, this is an excellent opportunity to advance in a collaborative, quality-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC milling or turning machines (HAAS, Fanuc, or Hurco).
- Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
- Maintain tight tolerances and conduct initial inspections.
- Operate manual milling and turning machines as required.
- Perform routine maintenance and ensure a clean, organized workspace.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve production targets.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, including programming and setup.
- Proficient in HAAS, Fanuc, or Hurco controls.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings while adhering to precise tolerances.
- Experience with manual milling and turning.
- Strong attention to detail, quality-oriented, self-motivated, reliable, and a team player.
