Full job description

FLB Group (Filofax, Letts, Blueline) are one of the world’s largest innovators and manufacturers of quality stationery and lifestyle accessories, with operations on three continents and distributors worldwide.

We are looking for a dynamic, hard-working Warehouse Operative to ensure that as part of a team the warehouse plan is met and exceeeded.

Key responsibilities

Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, by hand or with forklift truck.
Checking goods are not damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage in the warehouse.
Taking goods to the appropriate storage space – using loading and lifting equipment for palleted goods.
Maintaining accurate stock records on the ERP system, so that it can be located quickly.
Creating delivery notes manually via Excel spreadsheets.
Creating shipping manifests for outgoing deliveries.
Picking orders from the storage space and bringing them for packing, or to the loading bay for transportation.
Packing and labelling orders to customer specifications or standard company guidelines. Ensuring goods are ready for safe and secure transport to destination.
Organising transfers of materials and finished and loading finished goods on to delivery vehicles.
Cleaning and maintaining area of work.
Ensure all Materials Handling Equipment has daily start up checks prior to being operational bearing in mind Health and Safety Regulations.
Endeavour to keep wastage and downtime to a minimum.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,784.50 per year
