Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage essential financial records, ensure accuracy in accounting processes, and support the overall financial health of our organization. As a key contributor, you will handle a variety of bookkeeping tasks with energy and precision, helping us maintain smooth financial operations while working flexible hours that fit your schedule. Duties

Maintain accurate financial records by recording transactions using popular accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all accounts are up-to-date and accurate
Manage accounts payable processes, including processing invoices and tracking payments
Assist with payroll preparation and related documentation as needed
Generate financial reports to support management decision-making and ensure compliance
Monitor and categorize expenses, ensuring proper documentation and coding
Support year-end closing activities and prepare necessary documentation for audits

Requirements

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role, preferably with familiarity in QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency with various accounting software platforms and MS Office tools
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in financial data
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and vendors
