The Royal Caribbean Group’s Crew Readiness Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Global Crew Onboarding Specialist reporting to the Sr Manager of Global Crew Readiness
Position Summary
The Global Crew Onboarding Specialist manages the end-to-end onboarding process for Marine positions across our fleet This role requires strong communication organisation stakeholder management and prioritisation skills due to the fast-paced and business-critical nature of these roles
This position is highly analytical and would suit someone who enjoys working with data reporting and compliance processes You'll be responsible for producing reports for various regulatory requirements and providing regular updates and insights to stakeholders
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver a high level of support and customer service to Marine crew members and internal stakeholders throughout the onboarding process
- Ensure every crew member receives the guidance and assistance needed to create a smooth and positive onboarding experience
Ensures compliance with regulatory local international- and company policies to ensure the safety and well-being of the crew members
Work closely with Talent Attraction Crew Assist Scheduling Visa Teams Port Agents Training Schools- and Referral Partners to meet hiring and deployment timelines
Provide support and guidance to Operations Representatives and act as a subject matter expert on visa medical- and STCW requirements for shipboard positions
Proactively identify and resolve onboarding challenges- escalating issues where needed and continually looking for ways to improve processes
- Complete all administration associated with onboarding shipboard employees
Produce reports status updates analysis- and talent pool information for stakeholders and business leaders
Coordinate and facilitate monthly governance meetings with Recruitment Scheduling Mobility Centres HR Onboard- and key stakeholders
- Consistently achieve performance targets and service level expectations set by management
- Support additional projects and undertake other duties as required
Education Experience Knowledge & Skills
Minimum of 2 years' experience in onboarding operations data analysis
- or a similar role
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics Business Administration- or a related field is preferred
- Experience working within compliance-driven or regulated environments
- Comfortable working with high levels of data / reporting
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify potential issues and take action before they become problems
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong stakeholder management skills- with the ability to build positive working relationships and meet expectations
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
