Full job description

Cerealto UK Ltd is a global label food manufacturer with a presence in 49 countries, employing 3,000 colleagues and supplying products to large distribution chains and multinationals in the retail and B2B sector.

Based at our Worksop site, suitable candidates will work a 4-week rostered shift pattern working 12-hour shifts, covering days and nights (Monday to Sunday) and averaging 42 hours per week; this 4-week rotation also includes an attractive 7-day rest period...

Holiday entitlement is 6.5 weeks (equivalent).

The successful candidate will be multi-skilled and responsible for running, introducing and maintaining equipment together with the development of continuous improvement ideas facilitating these through a number of Lean Manufacturing areas to deliver improvements across the factory.

Responsibilities, personal experiences and attributes will include:

Delivery of planned/predictive maintenance across all production lines and process areas
Facilitation of Continuous Improvement of cross functional teams using a combination of tools and techniques such as TPM, RCM, FMECA, 5’s and Kaizen events
Identification and implementation of improvement ideas to achieve world-class standards relating to OEE, H&S and Quality measurements
Optimisation of equipment, addressing both chronic and sporadic issues to reduce losses in efficiency and waste
Adherence to H&S procedures and legislation
Preferably qualified to HNC/HND level with electrical awareness (18th edition); however, candidates with a full Engineering Apprenticeship will be considered
Quality awareness, decision making and problem-solving skills
Previous experience working in a similar environment
A good working knowledge and understanding of factory processes and technology
A proven ability to plan and prioritize workload in order to meet required deadlines and performance standards; and
Planned and preventative maintenance skills

The successful candidate will be a good communicator (both written and oral) possessing interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise at all levels across functional teams and departments.
