About Us
CILS International is a leading UK manufacturer of highly durable identification labels, supplying more than 15,000 customers worldwide.
Our labels are used in some of the world's most demanding environments, including aerospace, automotive, electronics, healthcare, biotechnology, laboratories and telecommunications. From vaccine identification to satellites and Formula 1, our products are designed to perform where ordinary labels fail.
The Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic Print & Finishing Machine Operator to join our production team in East Worthing.
This is a hands-on role where you'll set up, operate and monitor a range of specialist label manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality durable labels. - Die-cutting equipment
Full training will be provided on our machinery and production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate print and cutting equipment in accordance with job specifications.
- Produce labels to the highest quality standards, carrying out regular quality checks throughout production.
- Read and follow job instructions and production documentation.
- Complete production records accurately.
- Carry out routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Identify and report any quality or production issues promptly.
- Work closely with colleagues across the production department to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently and on time.
- Follow all company procedures and Health & Safety requirements while maintaining a clean and organised work area.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience operating printing or converting equipment.
- Experience in any print manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good practical and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and follow job specifications accurately.
- Basic maths skills and confidence working with measurements.
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
What We Offer
- Private medical insurance.
- Life insurance.
- Company pension scheme.
- 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
- Free on-site parking.
- Modern break-out facilities.
- Company events.
- Ongoing training and career development opportunities.
If you enjoy working with machinery, take pride in producing high-quality work and want to develop your skills in a modern manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.
