Job Title: Buyer / Purchasing Assistant
Hours: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive + Attractive Bonus Scheme

Core Requirements

Experience: 3+ years in purchasing within a commercial/technical environment.
Skills: Proven ability to negotiate prices, manage orders independently, and solve problems.
Education: Strong GCSEs/A-levels minimum (HNC/HND or Degree is a plus).
Traits: Reliable, self-motivated team player with excellent time management.

The Role & Company

Since 1999, we have grown into a leading UK utilities distributor, supplying everyone from the public to major infrastructure projects like HS2. You will join our fast-paced purchasing team to source construction and utility products, ensuring the best prices and shortest lead times.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor ERP stock levels and raise/expedite purchase orders.
Negotiate pricing, manage rebates, and build relationships with suppliers.
Resolve stock discrepancies and collaborate closely with sales and operations teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £35,000.00 per year
