About TIOS
TIOS is a systemic design company combining systemics, technology and human behaviour, to create high-performing enterprise solutions.
At the heart of our work is Omnia, our bespoke Enterprise Performance Platform. Unlike traditional business software, Omnia is a centralised, adaptable real time system that brings together people, objectives, information and processes.
We are looking for someone to work closely with one of our clients, a business of 30-40 employees, providing IT support and acting as the link between the client and our development team.
The role
This is a varied, hands-on role. You will be the main point of contact for technology from the client's perspective, supporting users, dealing with IT issues and helping ensure their systems work effectively.
You will also work closely with TIOS on the support and development of their bespoke platform.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing IT support to 35 employees
- Dealing with day-to-day IT issues and troubleshooting problems
- Supporting users with hardware, software, systems and access
- Resolving minor software issues if and where possible (not essential)
- Managing and prioritising IT requests and problems
- Supporting users with the bespoke platform
- Investigating platform issues and identifying what is causing them
- Liaising with TIOS developers when issues require development work
- Clearly communicating user requirements and technical problems to developers
- Testing fixes and new functionality
- Helping users understand and get the most from their technology
- Keeping track of issues
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
- Technically minded with a good understanding of IT and software
- Ideally has some understanding of coding and how software systems work
- A good problem solver who can investigate issues
- Organised and able to prioritise competing demands
- A confident communicator who can work with both users and developers
- Patient and approachable when supporting users
- Detail focused and good at following things through
- Curious and interested in understanding how systems work
- Comfortable taking ownership and working independently
Why TIOS?
This is an opportunity to work with a technology company doing something genuinely different.
You will work across IT support, software, coding and business technology, while working closely with a development team building and continually improving a bespoke enterprise platform with many future iterations to come.
For the right person, it is a varied role with the opportunity to become the person who understands both the technology and the people using it.
