Personal Training Apprenticeship

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Training Apprentice to join Bphysical, a friendly community-focused gym. The successful Personal Trainer Apprentice will work alongside owner Barry in our private studio, developing coaching skills, supporting classes, building confidence and gaining the experience needed to become a qualified coach with long-term career opportunities.

As the Personal trainer Apprentice, you will be predominantly be working along side the owner Barry Thraves

Your main duties for our Personal Training Apprentice will include:

Strive for high standards of performance at all times
Shadow Barry during PT sessions.
Support and learn class delivery.
Assist with member consultations.
Learn Clubright system.
Welcome and support members.
Help with lead follow-up and onboarding.
Learn exercise programming.
Support Kickstart members.
Maintain high gym standards and cleanliness.
Develop confidence coaching clients.

As an apprentice, you will be:

Friendly and outgoing personality with the ability to build rapport with members, visitors and staff
Good listening skills with the ability to identify any action required
Show empathy with members, visitors and staff
A flexible, honest and open approach to all duties
A team player setting a great example to others

Training provided:

Gym Instructor Certificate Level 2 (if required)
Diploma in Personal Training Level 3
Level 2 English and Maths (if required)
Full training within the Gym to be provided.

Good to know

25hrs - 40hrs per week Monday - Sunday
Must be flexible, willing to work weekends.
Variable shifts between clubs opening hours. Mon - Fri 6am-8.30pm, Sat 7.30am-4.00pm, Sun &.30am-1.00pm
National Apprenticeship wage
Course duration - minimum 18 months
You must be able to commute taking into considerations early starts and public transport.
