Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Junior Project Manager to join our team during the day shift. This role is perfect for individuals eager to develop their project management skills while contributing to dynamic projects across various departments. As a Junior Project Manager, you will support project planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring that objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help drive project success and foster collaboration among team members.

Duties

Assist in gathering and documenting project requirements to ensure clear scope and deliverables
Support the development of project schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and task completion
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and escalate issues promptly
Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot project challenges and recommend solutions
Maintain comprehensive project documentation using SharePoint, Confluence, or similar content management systems
Support the use of project management software like Jira, ServiceNow, or Workday for tracking tasks and milestones
Contribute to cost control efforts by tracking budgets and resource allocation
Assist in preparing presentations and reports for stakeholders using Visio or other visualization tools
Collaborate with team members on product development initiatives and process improvements

Requirements

Previous supervising or team management experience is preferred but not mandatory
Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities
Knowledge of project management methodologies such as SAFe, Waterfall, or Agile frameworks
Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or Workday is a plus
Proficiency in project management software including Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Jira, or Smartsheet
Data analysis skills with experience using SAS or similar tools for reporting purposes
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas to stakeholders
Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions swiftly
Experience with content management systems such as SharePoint or ServiceNow is advantageous
Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members and manage multiple priorities effectively
