Working within a busy Private Office, you'll build relationships across Ofgem and beyond, engaging with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels. Your contribution will support the smooth running of a directorate that plays an important role in delivering outcomes for consumers and the wider energy sector.

Person specification

Please ensure you demonstrate clearly, within your supporting statement, how you meet each of the essential criteria. In the event of receiving a large number of applications, an initial sift may take place on just the lead criteria indicated in the essential criteria.

Essentia Criteria:

Confident PA/EA with a proven track record of working at Director/Deputy Director level, ensuring the allocation of a Directors time is proactively managed, and aligns with strategic priorities. (Lead)
Ability to multi-task and remain calm when working in a fast-paced environment, with a patient and logical approach to analysing information effectively to solve problems.
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills with proven ability to identify priorities and actions efficiently and effectively without supervision.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels and establish a strong rapport with senior leaders, both internally and externally, using diplomacy, tact and influencing.
Experience of dealing with matters of a highly confidential nature and acting appropriately.
Highly Proficient with the MS Office suite, OneNote and document management.
