We're looking for a passionate and experienced Early Years Nursery Practitioner to join our Pre Toddler Room team at Shooting Stars Wolverhampton. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within the room, supporting children as they grow in confidence, independence and curiosity. You'll work closely with colleagues to deliver outstanding childcare and early education while developing your leadership skills, embracing new challenges and helping to maintain the high standards we are known for.
As a Senior Nursery Practitioner, you will:
- Support the delivery of exceptional care and education within the Pre Toddler Room.
- Act as a Key Person, building strong relationships with children and families.
- Plan and implement engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS.
- Observe, assess and support children's learning and development.
- Help maintain a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
- Support, guide and mentor colleagues, apprentices and students.
- Promote inclusive practice and support children with additional needs.
- Build positive partnerships with parents, carers and professionals.
- Champion safeguarding, health and safety, and high-quality practice.
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Experience working within an Early Years setting.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, professional and enthusiastic approach.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Experience supporting or mentoring colleagues.
- Experience working with SEND.
- Experience of Ofsted inspections.
- Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene or Safeguarding qualifications.
