About the Role

The Humbleyard Practice is seeking a capable and highly motivated GP referral administrator to join our team. Offered on a part-time basis, for 20 hours per week, the days/hours will be as follows:

Monday 10.00-17.00
Wednesday 9.30-17.00
Thursday 10.00-17.00

This is an opportunity for someone with enthusiasm, commitment, and excellent communications skills to join our loyal and well-established secretarial team. The role will involve applying your administrative experience to assist clinical staff and patients with referral requests and inquiries, in a timely, efficient and professional manner.

About the Candidate

To be considered for this vacancy, you will require the following:

Experience working in primary care setting
Computer literate
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
Excellent communication skills
Excellent written & spoken English
Time management skills
Ability to always maintain strict confidentiality
Flexibility with an adaptable approach
Multitasking and prioritising own workload
Calm and patient manner

We are a large, semi-rural, dispensing, research and GP training practice, operating over three surgery sites just to the southwest of Norwich. We have a fast-growing list size of 22,225 patients and we are part of the 5-practice Kett’s Oak Primary Care Network.
