Full job description

At Sheffield Forgemasters we have an exciting opportunity for a Head of People Service Hub to join our extended leadership team on a 2 year fixed term contract.

This role is based at our 64-acre site, sitting in the heart of Sheffield, and will be working as part of our People & Culture department supporting the organisation with workforce engagement, development, and organisational culture.

As the Head of People Services Hub, you will lead the team in ensuring the delivery of HR operational services, system optimisation, continuous process improvements and overseeing the implementation of the new HRIS, which is already underway.

What you’ll be doing

Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of People Hub services.
Manage HR systems, payroll, benefits and people data to ensure accuracy, compliance and efficiency.
Develop HR reporting and analytics to support business decision-making.
Drive process improvements to enhance the employee experience.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and external providers while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.

About You

Ideally CIPD Level 7 qualified.
Strong communicator, collaborator with exceptional internal and external stakeholder engagement.
Ability to lead and develop a team.
A strategic planner.
HRIS implementation and management experience.
Continuous improvement approach to process design and change management.
Risk management and compliance expertise.
Good understanding of recruitment, talent, performance, ER and other People-related specialisms.

The Working Pattern

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday. We offer flexibility in our start and finish times between 06:15 - 09:30 and 14:30 – 18:00.

These restrictions mean that factors such as your nationality, any nationalities you may have previously held, and your place of birth can restrict the roles you are eligible to perform within the organisation. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 - 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
