Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Motor Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of motor vehicles. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about vehicle maintenance and repair to develop their skills within a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify faults or issues.
Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools.
Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil change, brake inspections, and fluid top-ups.
Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic or similar role with a strong mechanical background.
Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams.
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques.
Knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Mot licence preferably but not essential.

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
