Full job description

Creative Home Cinema is a design led audio visual and lighting specialist company for high end residential homes. We work closely with clients and design teams to create bespoke smart homes.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced AV Service Engineer to join our team. As an Audio Visual Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, and troubleshooting and remote online software support of our clients' systems. You will work closely with customers to ensure their audio visual needs are met and provide technical support when necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain audio visual equipment, including projectors, sound systems and control systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to audio visual equipment and systems
- Provide training and support to end users on the operation of audio visual equipment
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in audio visual technology
- Maintain inventory of audio visual equipment and ensure proper storage and organization
- Collaborate with team members on projects that require coordination with other departments

Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of audio visual equipment, including projectors, sound systems and control systems
- Proficiency in computer networking and computer hardware
- Basic electrical knowledge for wiring and power requirements
- Ability to use hand tools for equipment installation and repair
- Understanding of Ethernet networks and Cisco Routers is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and provide technical support
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Monday to Friday and remote support on Saturday mornings.
