Full job description

Company Overview

Collyer & Co is a mid to high-end cabinet maker specialising in the manufacture of kitchens and cabinetry around the home in traditional and contemporary styles. Our commitment to quality craftsmanship drives our expansion as we respond to increasing demand. We work with architects, interior designers and end consumers so the variety of work will keep you interested.

We are a small and friendly business with a team of 4. Our workshop is based in Colwick, Nottingham.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble cabinets according to specifications.
Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Use machinery including spindle moulder, surfacer/planer, bench saw and edgebander.
Perform joinery and carpentry tasks with precision.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Ensure quality control throughout the production process.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a bench joiner or cabinet maker.
Proficiency in fabrication, assembly, and joinery techniques.
Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in cabinet making.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Ability to work collaboratively within a small team.
Experience
The candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience as a bench joiner/cabinet maker.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
