Description

Reports to: Head of Billing
Location: Full Time In Office, Nottingham (NG8)
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

What We Need from Yü

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:

Collaborate with stakeholders across Commercial, Trading, Finance, Operations, Customer Services, and Regulatory teams
Act as the key interface between the business and technical teams
Translate commercial propositions (e.g. Flex Tariffs, dynamic pricing, EV tariffs, demand-side response incentives) into clear, deliverable billing requirements
Support flex billing outputs in line with commercial vision.
Prioritise and manage the product backlog aligned to business goals, customer outcomes, and regulatory requirements
Work closely with technical and delivery teams to deliver high-quality billing outputs.
Define and maintain billing reconciliation (charging, credits, adjustments)
Ensure billing solutions are accurate, scalable, and transparent for customers
Support testing, release management, and operational readiness
Identify and mitigate billing risks and revenue assurance issues
Continuously improve billing processes to support future flexibility offerings

About Yü

Proven experience as a Product Owner in a complex or regulated environment
Strong understanding of Billing Complex
Experience with Flex product structures
Ability to translate complex business needs
Strong stakeholder management skills
Comfortable working in Agile environments
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Experience in UK energy market (desirable)
Knowledge of billing platforms such as Junifer, ICE, Kraken, SAP IS-U or similar
