Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gardener to join our vibrant team and help create stunning, healthy outdoor spaces. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing gardens, landscapes, and green areas through expert horticultural practices. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, applying your growing experience and love for gardening to transform environments into beautiful, thriving landscapes. Your hands-on skills with various tools and irrigation systems will be essential in ensuring our outdoor spaces flourish year-round.

Duties

Use hand tools, power tools, and irrigation equipment to plant, prune, weed, mow, and maintain gardens and landscaped areas
Implement landscape maintenance routines including fertilizing, mulching, aerating, and pest control to promote healthy growth
Monitor plant health regularly and identify issues such as diseases or pests, applying appropriate treatments
Assist in designing and planting new garden beds or landscape features based on project specifications
Maintain equipment by cleaning, repairing, and storing tools properly after each use
Collaborate with team members to plan seasonal planting schedules and landscape improvements
Ensure safety protocols are followed during all gardening activities to prevent accidents or injuries

Qualities

Proven growing experience with a strong understanding of horticulture principles and landscape maintenance techniques
Proficiency in using hand tools such as pruners, shovels, rakes, and hoes; familiarity with power tools like trimmers and lawnmowers is preferred
Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting is a plus
Passion for gardening with an eye for detail and aesthetic appeal
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Previous experience working with horticultural projects is highly desirable
