Full job description

A branch based customer facing role providing the first point of contact for HSBC customers, responsible for providing a high quality, personalised, friendly, efficient and customer-driven service by pro-actively identifying and addressing simple customer needs. Primary responsibility is to service customer base by handling cash withdrawals and deposits. Treating customers fairly is at the heart of everything they do with a high level of energy and driven to achieve challenging targets. Deliver consistently excellent customer experience and encourage customers to use direct channels where appropriate.

Listed below are the outcomes performed by this role that directly align with key business goals. All performance should be in support of achieving these outcomes.

4. Support the Branch and Identify Customer Opportunities

This is a Part-time role that requires you to work 21 hours(3 days) per week between the hours of Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 and Saturday 09:00-13:30. (Not all our branches are open on a Saturday). Applications are open to UK Residents over the age of 18 currently with the valid right to work in the UK for a minimum of 14 months, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role. This is a Part-time position that requires you to work 21 hours per week. Please note if you are on a student visa that does not allow you to work 21 hours per week, unfortunately, we will not be able to progress your application.

Our Part-Time Customer Service Representative training course is a total of 40 hours over 2-week period between Monday to Friday. We recognise that this may not fit into your working pattern, however we can offer overtime or payment in lieu.

As our training is important, we require you to attend the whole course therefore you will be unable to take holidays during your training period.

There may be times when we may ask you to support other local branches within a reasonable distance to you with any additional costs reimbursed in line with HSBC Expenses Policy.
