Location: Based on Site at our offices in Rugby, Warwickshire
Your new Company:
At Häfele UK, we're more than a supplier of furniture fittings, ironmongery and hardware solutions. As part of the global Häfele Group, we support customers across the trade, manufacturing, construction and interiors sectors with innovative products, industry expertise and exceptional service.
Your new role:
Our sales teams play a crucial role in building lasting customer relationships and helping businesses grow. Joining our Desk Based Sales team means becoming part of a collaborative, high-performing environment where success is recognised, development is encouraged and internal progression is a genuine reality. In fact, this opportunity has arisen due to an internal promotion, demonstrating the career pathways available within the business.
As a Desk Based Account Manager, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of existing, dormant and new customer accounts, helping to strengthen relationships, identify opportunities and drive sales growth.
This is a fully phone-based sales role where you'll spend much of your day speaking with customers, understanding their needs and proactively introducing products and solutions that add value to their business. While outbound activity is a key part of the role, the focus is largely on developing existing relationships, re-engaging dormant customers and nurturing opportunities rather than cold calling from scratch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain a sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities are accurately tracked and progressed through each stage of the sales cycle
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships by phone and digital channels.
- Re-engaging dormant accounts and developing new customer accounts.
- Promoting and selling Häfele's products and services.
- Managing customer enquiries and providing solutions that meet customer needs.
- Achieving sales, profit and activity targets.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and follow-up activity.
- Working closely with colleagues across the wider sales and support teams.
What you’ll need to succeed:
We're looking for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities and achieving targets.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Proven experience in a sales, account management or business development role.
- Confidence speaking with customers over the phone throughout the day.
- Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- A proactive, resilient and target-driven approach.
- The ability to analyse customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
Experience within the furniture, interiors, construction, manufacturing or related product sectors would be advantageous, although it's not essential.
What you’ll get in return:
· Basic starting salary £30,000 + uncapped quarterly commission + annual bonus (OTE £34,100 per annum)
· Benefits including:
o Holiday of 23 days’ basic + 8 bank holidays in a complete year, increasing to 28 days basic with our length of service programme
o Healthcare – Westfield Health Cashplan scheme, access to money back on dental, optical, consultation, therapy treatments and wellbeing treatments, hospital treatment insurance, Employee Assistance Programme and Life Insurance
o Discounts: Huge range of shopping and activity discounts available through Westfield Rewards
o Pension Scheme
o Stock Discounts
· Learning and Development opportunities
· Paid volunteering days

It could also be an excellent opportunity for an Internal Sales Executive, Telesales Executive, Sales Advisor, Business Development Executive or Account Manager seeking a larger customer portfolio, structured development and clear progression opportunities.
You'll be successful in this role if you enjoy spending your day speaking with customers, are motivated by sales targets and relationship building, and are keen to grow your career within a business that invests in and promotes its people.
