We're looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join our Technology & Change team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide family leave cover.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Developer who enjoys working across both front-end and back-end technologies, building high-quality applications, solving complex problems and collaborating with a supportive and agile team.
You'll play a key role in delivering new features, improving existing systems and helping us create technology solutions that make a real difference to our colleagues and customers.
As a Full Stack Developer, you'll:

Design, develop and maintain scalable web applications using C#, .NET and Angular

Build responsive, user-focused front-end experiences using Angular and TypeScript

Develop and support back-end services, APIs and integrations.

Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code
-
Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts and colleagues across Technology & Change to deliver valuable solutions

Participate in sprint planning, refinements, code reviews and retrospectives

Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes and implement effective fixes
-
Contribute ideas that improve performance, quality, security and user experience

Support the continuous improvement of our development practices and standards
What we're looking for
We're interested in hearing from Developers who have:
Essential

Commercial experience developing applications with C# and .NET

Experience with TypeScript

Strong understanding of SQL databases and query development

Experience working with REST APIs and modern web technologies

Understanding of software development best practices, including testing and version control

Experience working within Agile delivery teams

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Desirable

Experience with PostgreSQL and Angular

Experience using Docker and containerised applications

Exposure to cloud-based environments

Experience working across the full software development lifecycle
