Expert Smile is a small, owner-led practice in Paignton, and we're looking for a friendly, motivated Dental Nurse to join our close-knit team.
We've built a calm, contemporary practice with modern equipment and digital workflows, and we're actively expanding our Invisalign offering. This is an opportunity to grow with the practice, develop real skills in private dentistry and Invisalign, and be part of a team where your contribution genuinely matters.
If you enjoy dental nursing but want genuine variety in your role, this position gives you that.
Your time will be split between dental nursing and reception, so you're involved across clinical work and patient care, not just chairside.
What you'll be doing:
Dental nursing
Assisting chairside across a range of private treatments, preparing and maintaining clinical areas, decontamination and instrument processing, supporting our clinicians to deliver excellent patient care, maintaining accurate clinical records and compliance logs, and managing stock ordering.
Reception
Welcoming patients, handling calls and enquiries, managing appointments, assisting with finance queries, taking payments, maintaining patient records, and providing information about our treatments and services.
About you:
- GDC registration would be an advantage, but it isn’t essential. We’d also love to hear from experienced trainee dental nurses who are already working towards a recognised qualification, or who are ready and eligible to begin one within the required timeframe.
- Some reception experience (whether from a dedicated role or covering the desk alongside nursing)
- Friendly, reliable and self-motivated
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience in private dentistry, Invisalign or Dentally is useful but not essential
