Sales Representative - William Richards Sash Windows Ltd

Midlands | Full Time | Competitive Salary + Commission

William Richards Sash Windows specialises in the manufacture and installation of bespoke timber windows and doors throughout the UK. We work on a diverse range of projects, from listed buildings and period homes to high-end contemporary developments, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern performance standards.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and professional Sales Representative to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious salesperson to work with homeowners on a wide range of bespoke timber window and door projects in the West Midlands.

You will be responsible for managing enquiries from initial contact through to order, building relationships with clients, conducting site visits, preparing quotations and helping customers find the most suitable solutions for their projects.

The role will involve a mixture of office-based work, client meetings and site visits across the West Midlands.

Responsibilities

Respond to incoming sales enquiries and convert opportunities into orders.
Conduct site visits and client meetings.
Build relationships with homeowners, architects, contractors and developers.
Prepare quotations and follow up proposals.
Manage projects through the sales process from enquiry to order.
Identify and develop new business opportunities.
Maintain accurate records using company CRM systems.
Represent the company professionally at all times.

Requirements

Previous sales experience, ideally within construction, glazing, joinery, home improvements or a related industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident dealing with high-value projects and clients.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

Experience with timber windows and doors.
Knowledge of heritage, conservation or listed building projects.
Experience reading drawings and construction details.
Existing industry contacts.
