The Role

Are you a qualified experienced Plumber or Electrician with some experience in renewable energy and green technologies?

We need your help to bridge skills gaps and help train and upskill our local skilled workforce, we have great facilities across our organisation calling out for your expertise

You will work closely with the Director on the expansion and development of our Green Skills, Renewables and Retrofit offer, helping us to deliver the highest quality training for our communities

With your valuable industry experience, you will help inspire the next generation of skilled experts, supporting people from all backgrounds to achieve their career and life ambitions.

You will also play a key role in promoting the courses across the renewables and green skills curriculum area, taking part in marketing events and sharing your expertise and industry insights.

Skills and Experience

For this role, you will need to have relevant industry experience and qualifications and be willing to work towards assessor and teaching qualifications You will have achieved a minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent)

You will need to have great communication skills - able to articulate clearly and confidently to class groups, in an engaging way. You will also need efficient administration skills to support good student record-keeping.
