Full job description

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and organised Operations Manager to join our growing care team. This is a varied and rewarding role combining office-based administrative responsibilities with hands-on support shifts in the community.

You will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure high-quality, person-centred care is delivered consistently, safely, and in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Operational & Administrative Duties:

Conduct regular care audits and quality checks
Update and review care plans to ensure accuracy and compliance
Carry out staff supervisions and support performance development
Assist with rota coordination and general office administration
Participate in the on-call rota as required
Support compliance with CQC and company policies

Field-Based Duties:

Deliver care and support shifts as required
Carry out spot checks and competency observations
Provide hands-on guidance and mentoring to care staff
Build positive relationships with service users and families

Requirements

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
Previous experience in a health & social care setting
Strong organisational and communication skills
Experience completing audits and care documentation (desirable)
Ability to balance office responsibilities with hands-on care delivery
Willingness to participate in an on-call rota
