Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Electricians Mate to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain practical experience in electrical installation and maintenance. The successful candidate will work closely with qualified electricians, assisting with various tasks on-site. A strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are essential for this position. All roles are paid, including internship positions, providing valuable industry exposure and skill development.

Responsibilities

Assist qualified electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
Handle hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
Support the setup of electrical equipment and components for various projects
Help in the organisation and preparation of materials needed for electrical work
Follow health and safety protocols diligently at all times
Conduct basic inspections of electrical wiring and fixtures under guidance
Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety standards are upheld

Experience

Previous experience with hand tools and power tools is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
Electrical experience or background in a related field is preferred but not essential; willingness to learn on the job is key
Basic understanding of electrical systems or coursework related to electrical work is desirable
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude are highly valued
