Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Tattoo Artist to join our vibrant studio. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for body art, exceptional artistic skills, and a professional attitude. This role involves working closely with clients to bring their ideas to life through customised tattoo designs, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and safety. The Tattoo Artist will also contribute to the studio’s welcoming atmosphere and uphold our reputation for excellence in body art. Experience in management, social media management, and customer service is highly desirable to support the growth and promotion of our studio.
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their tattoo ideas, preferences, and expectations
- Design customised tattoo artwork tailored to each client’s specifications
- Prepare the studio environment and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Perform tattoo procedures with precision, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery
- Maintain detailed records of client designs and preferences for future reference
- Engage with clients post-procedure to ensure satisfaction and provide aftercare advice
- Promote the studio’s services through social media management and community engagement
- Assist with front desk duties, including greeting clients and managing enquiries
- Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, or deep tissue massage when appropriate
- Contribute to a positive guest service experience by demonstrating excellent communication skills and hospitality
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Tattoo Artist with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand client needs clearly
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to tattooing practices
- Skills in management and social media management are advantageous for promotional activities
- Experience in customer service, guest services, or front desk roles is beneficial
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple appointments efficiently
- A professional attitude with excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
