Sales Progressor
Location: Clarendon Park, Leicester
Salary: £33,000 OTE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. One in three Saturdays, 8.30am to 2.00pm.
We are looking for an organised, personable and proactive Sales Progressor to join our team at our Clarendon Park office.
Working under the management of Bethany and Jake, you will play an important part in helping our buyers and sellers move through the sales process as smoothly as possible. From offer acceptance through to exchange and completion, you will keep chains moving, solve problems as they arise and ensure clients feel informed and supported throughout.
This is a role for someone who enjoys speaking to people, keeping on top of detail and getting things over the line. No two days are quite the same, which is half the fun.
What you will be doing
- Progressing residential property sales from agreed sale through to exchange and completion
- Liaising with buyers, sellers, solicitors, mortgage brokers and surveyors
- Chasing updates on searches, mortgages, surveys and legal enquiries
- Managing and updating sales chains
- Keeping clients informed and providing excellent customer service throughout
- Identifying issues early and helping to find practical solutions
- Supporting the sales team on Saturdays by booking viewings and valuations, and chasing buyers for survey results
Due to solicitor closures, there will generally be less sales progression activity on Saturdays. These shifts will therefore predominantly involve assisting the wider sales team.
What we are looking for
- Previous estate agency or conveyancing experience is essential
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases at once
- A calm, professional approach when dealing with challenging situations
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A genuine passion for helping people through their home-moving journey
- Confidence using systems, emails and telephone communication
Full training will be provided for the role, alongside ongoing support from Bethany, Jake and the wider team.
