Full job description

We’re looking for a dedicated Label Assistant to join our Maidstone team and help ensure our packaging reflects the quality, authenticity, and care behind every Driscoll’s product.

Working pattern: 5 days per week (2 days off)

Working hours: day shift between 7am-10pm (flexibility required).

Key Responsibilities

Label Printing & Quality Assurance

Print and verify labels using software packages, cross-checking against internal data.
Ensure all labels meet customer specifications, legal standards, and internal quality requirements.
Accurately complete production check forms and maintain records.

Stock & Resource Management

Monitor label stock levels and order supplies to ensure uninterrupted production.
Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records.

Compliance & Reporting

Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures and site policies.
Document and report any labelling errors, failures, or discrepancies.
Log and report printer faults and coordinate resolution where required.
Prepare and submit monthly waste reports.

Team Support & Communication

Collaborate with production and other departments to support operational needs.
Communicate any labelling issues clearly to management for timely resolution.
Assist with ad hoc tasks as required to support the wider team.

Key Accountabilities

Ensure accurate and compliant labelling at all times.
Maintain efficient stock control of label materials.
Support smooth production operations through effective organisation and communication.
Uphold product safety, legality, authenticity, and quality standards.
