About the Role:
We're looking for a methodical, detail-focused Ganging Operator to join our team.
As a Ganging Operator at Tradeprint, you'll be the strategic mind behind maximising efficiency on our print floor. Using our MIS and imposition software (full training provided, no prior software experience needed), you'll take multiple print jobs – from business cards to flyers to promotional materials – and expertly arrange them together onto shared print sheets, ensuring optimal use of every inch of stock while reducing material waste and keeping production costs down.
This is a role that blends precision, spatial awareness, and technical know-how, and you'll be supported to build confidence with our systems as you go. You'll be following defined processes and specifications closely, and those specifications and daily priorities can shift, so comfort with structured systems that change regularly is important.

This is a full time 100% office-based role. While no specific software experience is required, you will be comfortable using computers and confident learning new software
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- A methodical, rules-based approach to problem solving, and the ability to adapt when processes or priorities change.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong time management and the ability to work to clearly defined goals and deadlines
- Clear, professional communication for liaising with other teams
It would be great if the successful candidate had:
- Experience working in a technical or systems based workflow, order management or job management role.
- Experience in a similar Ganging, Imposition, or Pre Press role
- Familiarity with specialist imposition software (e.g. IMP, Metrix) or job management systems (e.g. Filemaker, Tharstern)
- Knowledge of print production
The starting salary for this role is £26437. You will work Monday to Friday on a fixed weekly shift rotation of 8am-4pm and 2pm-10pm.
