Full job description

We're looking for a Senior Building Surveyor to join our Design team based in Speke.

Location: Speke, Liverpool - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Salary: Starting from £45,000 per annum

Sector: Design – Architecture

A chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS or MCIOB)?
Experienced in the successful delivery of projects in the public and/or private sectors?
Confident delivering surveys, reports and technical advice?

Advise on compliance, HSE, planning and building regulations?
Administer contracts using JCT or NEC?

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you'll be working within the Design team, supporting them in delivering construction-focused, innovative and sustainable solutions. Your day to day will include:

Undertaking building surveys and producing professional reports on condition, defects, maintenance and improvement opportunities
Advising clients on building compliance, HSE, planning, Building Regulations and related matters
Designing, specifying and delivering maintenance, refurbishment, alteration and extension works
Administering contracts using JCT or NEC forms and managing projects through to successful completion
Building strong client relationships, mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to business development activities

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Building Surveyor is great for you if:

You hold chartered membership of RICS (Building Surveying pathway) or CIOB
You have a degree in Building Surveying or related field (or HNC/HND as a minimum)
You're experienced in successfully delivering projects in public and/or private sectors
You're confident in providing surveys, technical reports and professional advice to clients
You're passionate about working collaboratively within a trusted, delivery-focused organisation
