Working in the North West regional team with our Partnerships and Business Development Analyst will be joining a highly experienced and skilled team who are focussed on unlocking tens of thousands of homes in sustainable, well-designed communities and in support of local housing and regeneration ambitions through our Strategic Place Partnerships (SPPs).
This role is focused on supporting key housing and regeneration projects.
We do this by supporting the coordination and delivery of complex, large-scale regeneration projects. We work collaboratively with local authorities, combined authorities, central Government and leading private sector partners. This is an exciting role providing the opportunity to participate in the North West’s most transformational regeneration projects and work in partnership to meet housing need.
The Regional Team work on strategic projects requiring complex or multiple interventions to unlock delivery and drive projects forward. We also coordinate a range of interventions offered by Homes England meaning you will be at the heart of the Agency’s capacity to support housing and regeneration.
Our role is to coordinate partnerships between the public and private sector to bring the required mix of capital, land, and delivery expertise to each project. We do this through our existing SPPs with Greater Manchester and Liverpool City Region Combined Authorities and emerging partnerships with Cheshire and Warrington and Lancashire and Cumbria. Our mission is to accelerate the delivery of high-quality homes in these locations, whilst also supporting economic growth through regeneration and placemaking.
Recent project examples include:
- Joint working with GMCA, Manchester City Council, TfGM and private sector partners to deliver Victoria North (Manchester), the largest residential opportunity in Greater Manchester.
- Supporting GMCA’s ambition to deliver 75,000 Greater Manchester homes within the current Parliament, including 10,000 Totally Affordable Net Zero Caron Homes.
- £56m infrastructure investment to unlock 2,350 new homes at Central Docks in collaboration with Liverpool City Council and Peel Waters.
- Working in partnership with Wirral Borough Council and Liverpool City Region Combined Authority to secure more than £50m infrastructure and sustainable transport funding in support of the first phase of delivery at Hind St Urban Village.

We are looking for someone to join our team who wants to work on the delivery of complex regeneration projects, can understand the barriers faced in delivering them, and is used to working in a fast-paced environment.
You'll be comfortable supporting the Senior Manager on housing and regeneration project. You’ll have the ability to review and absorb information on complex projects, undertake analysis and produce reports for internal and external stakeholders.
We are looking for someone to provide high-quality analysis, strategic briefings, and collaborative project support to drive progress in unlocking land and deploying financial tools.
