We're looking for an Architectural Technician to join our Architectural and Building Solutions team based in Liverpool.

Location: Liverpool
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Salary: Starting form £30,000 per annum

Sector: Architectural and Building Solutions

Kier Design is a top 25 UK Building Consultancy, delivering multidisciplinary design across a wide range of sectors. This is a great opportunity to join a growing, ambitious team working on nationally significant projects.

You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality drawings, specifications and coordinated design solutions using REVIT, while supporting project delivery and mentoring junior team members.

An experienced Architectural Technician / Technologist with a strong technical background?
Confident producing coordinated drawings and specifications using REVIT and BIM?
Comfortable working across sectors such as education, MOD/MOJ or blue light?

Have experience contributing to planning applications and regulatory approvals?

What will you be responsible for?

As a Architectural Technician, you'll support the delivery of schemes within the Kier Design team, including:

Producing high-quality concept and detailed drawings using CAD / REVIT
Coordinating design information across multidisciplinary teams
Supporting planning submissions and statutory approvals
Advising on environmental, legal and regulatory requirements
Contributing to design risk assessments and project delivery
Administering contracts (NEC / JCT) and undertaking site visits
Supporting bids and work-winning activity
Managing and mentoring junior team members

What are we looking for?

This role of Architectural Technician is great for you if you have:

Extensive architectural / technical experience
Strong knowledge of construction regulations and industry standards
Experience using REVIT, BIM and Autodesk products
Familiarity with NBS Create and contract administration (NEC / JCT)
Ability to coordinate design and work to deadlines
Experience in BIM coordination
Experience in sectors such as DfE, MOD, sustainability or conservation
