Full job description

Role ScopeWe’re looking for an energetic and detail‑driven finance professional to join our EMEA Finance team. This is a hands‑on role offering broad exposure across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Treasury, and Commercial Finance, making it ideal for someone who is intellectually curious and keen to develop a well‑rounded finance career in a fast‑paced retail environment.You’ll work closely with internal teams, external service providers, and senior stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and continuous process improvement.Key Responsibilities & DutiesAccounts Payable<ul><li>Run and review weekly vendors Aged Credit reports</li><li>Support the External Accounting Service in resolving missing payments, debit balances and any discrepancies with suppliers</li><li>Manage vendor portal issues</li><li>Manage Contractor files and provide coding for invoic</li><li></li></ul>Accounts Receivable/Treasury <ul><li>Review EMEA cash accounts, including funds in/out, credit cards, and cash over/under</li><li>Support the General Ledger team in investigating and resolving discrepancies</li><li>Assist with weekly EMEA cashbook reviews</li><li>Support monthly review and reconciliation of concession invoices</li><li>Monitor concession income, following up on missing or late payments</li><li>Conduct monthly petty cash reviews</li><li>Review Made‑to‑Order (MTO) activity</li><li>Manage Standing Orders and Direct Debit</li></ul>General Ledger <ul><li>Support month‑end and year‑end close, including journals and reconciliations</li><li>Review prepayments and accruals, preparing accurate journal entries</li><li>Ensure underlying accounting records are complete, accurate, and audit‑ready</li><li>Perform detailed cost line analysis and resolve discrepancies</li><li>Review and analyse P&L cost accounts</li><li>Support day‑to‑day General Ledger activities, ensuring timely processing</li><li>Collaborate cross‑functionally to maintain strong financial controls</li><li>Assist with financial reporting and analysis to support decision‑making</li><li>Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and internal policies</li></ul>Commercial Finance<ul><li>Provide support for forecasting and budgeting activities as required</li></ul>Ad‑Hoc & Operational Support<ul><li>Manage and distribute incoming post</li><li>Support ad‑hoc finance and administrative tasks as needed</li></ul>Skills, Experience and Qualifications<ul><li>At least 1 year of experience in Retail Finance or a similar fast‑paced environment</li><li>Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH)</li><li>Experience with SAP and/or HP is a plus</li><li>Working knowledge of IFRS or GAAP accounting standards</li><li>A hands‑on, proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability</li><li>Naturally curious, energetic, and ambitious, with a collaborative, team‑first approach</li><li>Excellent problem‑solving skills and a continuous improvement mentality</li><li>Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle priorities</li><li>High level of attention to detail combined with solid analytical capability</li></ul>—The Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
