Graduate/Junior Broker

Location: Rickmansworth

We’ve been looking after our clients for over 40 years from our Rickmansworth office and we’re looking to add to the team to ensure our clients have the best advice possible on hand at all times.

Our growth and retention rates are fuelled by our people, so we want to look after them and make sure they can do what they do best – look after clients, this role is key to ensuring the team can carry on pushing forwards to win and retain more clients in the region. We're now seeking a new Graduate/Junior Broker to join the team!

Responsibilities:

Client Management - Assist the broking team with the administration and servicing of commercial insurance accounts, prepare client documentation (policy schedules, renewal reports, market presentations), Respond to client enquiries professionally and in line with company standards, build positive relationships with clients and insurers, always ensuring confidentiality, work to company targets/KPIs
Placement - Obtain quotations from insurers for either new or existing clients, compare policy terms, conditions, and pricing
Administration – Maintain accurate client records and policy information within company systems, Process policy amendments, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals, ensure all documentation complies with regulatory and internal requirements, invoicing of premiums and working to company finance policies
Market Relationships - Develop an understanding of insurer products and underwriting appetite, develop effective and ongoing relationships with insurers and underwriters, understand the operation of the insurance market
Compliance & Administration - Ensure all client documentation, regulatory requirements, and internal processes are completed accurately and on time, maintaining compliance with FCA and company standards.
Learning & Development – Complete internal training programmes, professional qualifications and develop knowledge of commercial insurance products, client risk and insurance markets
