ABOUT LITTLE FISH

Little Fish is on a mission to deliver exceptional sushi and pan-Asian cuisine to food lovers outside major cities. Led by a Michelin-trained, multi-award-winning Head Chef and Co-Founder, the business combines fine-dining credentials with an innovative click & collect and delivery model — delivering restaurant-quality food to rural communities.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a part-time bookkeeper (12 to 16 hours per week) to join our venture. As we grow, so do our finance requirements and this role could evolve in all manner of ways over time.

If you like the idea of being part of a dynamic start-up that’s on a mission to bring exceptional sushi and pan-Asian cuisine to food lovers in rural communities, this could be the role for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities and duties will depend on experience level and may include but are not limited to the following:

Uploading and coding invoices from the accounts e-mail into the accounting software.
Reconciling the bank accounts on a regular basis.
Monitoring Accounts Payable and Receivable.
Preparing payment schedules for approval by the directors.
Generating invoices for services provided.
Sending remittance advices to suppliers.
Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register.

ABOUT YOU

We're ideally looking for someone who is AAT qualified or otherwise qualified by experience.

Some skills would be a benefit but not required:

Familiarity with Xero accounting software.
Familiarity with HubDoc software.
Comfortable with Microsoft Excel.

Required attributes are:

Time management and organisational skills.
High attention to detail.
Excellent verbal communication skills.

WHAT WE’RE OFFERING

£30,000 to £32,000 per annum pro-rata, negotiable according to experience. We are looking for someone to work between 12 and 16 hours per week.
