As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a Customer Account Executive to join our Sales Team and play a key role in supporting customer accounts, business development and marketing initiatives.

No two days are the same. One day you could be supporting a major touring production, preparing quotations for a new customer, creating content showcasing one of our latest projects, coordinating with operational teams or helping deliver a marketing campaign promoting Fly By Nite's services.

The Role
As a Customer Account Executive, you will play an important role in supporting the commercial success of the business by combining customer account management, sales support, business development and marketing activities.
Working closely with Account Managers, Operations, Planning and customers, you'll ensure enquiries, quotations, bookings and customer requirements are managed professionally whilst also helping promote the Fly By Nite brand across our digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Account Management
- Manage customer enquiries via telephone, email and other communication channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout every stage of the customer journey.
Business Development
- Proactively contact prospective customers via telephone, email and networking opportunities.
- Introduce Fly By Nite's specialist services and capabilities to potential clients.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, referrals and industry contacts.
- Support lead generation activities and develop relationships with prospective customers.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and monitor business development activity.
- Assist with customer presentations, account reviews and commercial proposals.
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for transport and logistics services.
- Support Account Managers with day-to-day account management activities.
- Coordinate customer requirements with Operations and Planning teams.
- Maintain accurate customer records, quotations and account documentation.
- Assist with contract administration, reporting and commercial documentation.
- Support customer retention and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.
Marketing, Brand & Social Media
You'll also play an active role in supporting Fly By Nite's marketing and brand presence.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating engaging content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and other company platforms.
- Supporting the planning and scheduling of social media campaigns.
- Producing professional written content including customer updates, case studies, newsletters and promotional material.
- Working with operational teams to identify projects, tours and business achievements suitable for promotion.
- Coordinating approved photographs, videos and project updates for marketing use.
- Supporting website updates and ensuring company information remains current.
- Monitoring social media engagement and escalating customer enquiries where appropriate.
- Researching market trends, competitors and new opportunities to promote Fly By Nite's services.
- Supporting exhibitions, networking events, recruitment campaigns and promotional activities.
- Ensuring all published content aligns with Fly By Nite's brand standards, confidentiality requirements and approval processes.

Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in a customer-facing, account management, sales support, marketing or communications role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience creating professional content for social media, customer communications or marketing campaigns.
- Experience using business social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook or Instagram.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good commercial awareness and an interest in business growth.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office.
Desirable
- Experience within transport, logistics, live events, touring or another fast-paced service industry.
- Experience using CRM systems.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Express, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Buffer or similar marketing tools.
- Experience creating B2B social media content, newsletters, case studies or website content.
- Basic photography or short-form video editing skills.
- Understanding of social media analytics and digital marketing performance.
- Experience supporting exhibitions, networking events or promotional campaigns.
- A qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline.
