Company Overview
We are looking for someone to do pot washing shifts & kitchen porter duties (cleaning & fetching items or assisting the chefs). At the weekends this is a busy commercial kitchen with hot pans & sharp knives so experience is important. Example of shift pattern: Saturday 5pm till close, Sunday 11am till 5pm. Shifts may vary week to week or you could be offered all day shifts but you must be reliable on a weekly basis.
Position can be offered long term or just for the summer (until early September)
- Clean and sanitize pots, pans, and kitchen utensils efficiently.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Support the kitchen staff during busy periods.
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed promptly to keep the kitchen operational.
- Follow all hygiene regulations and safety procedures.
- Help with general kitchen duties as needed.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication skills and team spirit.
- Having a positive, happy go lucky attitude is important
- Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness is essential.
- Flexibility to support various tasks within the kitchen.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus.

Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
