Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and be committed to providing exceptional therapeutic massage services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role offers an opportunity to work in a calming environment where client satisfaction and health are the top priorities.

Duties

Perform customised massage treatments based on client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, and sports massage techniques.
Assess clients' physical condition and discuss their health concerns to determine appropriate treatment plans.
Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing treatment environment in accordance with hygiene standards.
Keep detailed records of treatments provided and any client feedback for future reference.
Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend suitable follow-up therapies if necessary.
Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations.
Uphold professional standards of conduct, confidentiality, and client privacy at all times.

Experience

Proven experience as a Massage Therapist or similar role within a wellness or healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to tailor treatments effectively.
Certification from an accredited massage therapy programme is required; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen attentively and respond empathetically to clients’ needs.
Ability to work flexibly within scheduled hours, maintaining a professional demeanour at all times.

Pay: £135.00-£150.00 per day
