Due to company growth are recruiting a CNC Plasma Operator, preferably with experience operating plasma cutters, forklift and overhead cranes.

The Company:
- World Leaders in welding and robot manipulation.
- Able to provide bespoke solutions to a World Class Customer Base.
- We design and manufacture high precision mechanical products for use in the production of wind turbines, the nuclear and defence sectors, general engineering, and oil and gas industries.
- Our machining is working mainly with ferrous but some non-ferrous metals, working to high precision tolerances.

The Job:
- The main role will be operating a CNC plasma cutting machine.
- Loading and unloading steel plate and cut components.
- Checking part quality.
- Basic machine maintenance.
- Nesting of parts to CAM soft wear – training will be given.
- Assisting with production, logistics and other general duties.
Essential attributes:
- Forklift truck license / experience
- Honest and reliable
- Self-motivated
- Physically fit
- Experience in the use of power tools
- Good communication skills
- A flexible approach to working hours
- Monday – Thursday 8am - 5pm. Fridays 7:30am - 4pm.
Holiday entitlement – 20 days + 8 bank holidays (+1 birthday holiday).
The company has a shutdown over the Christmas period.
