Adviser Opportunity (Registration and Revalidation)

We currently have a number of permanent and fixed-term positions available at the GMC. As an Adviser, you will enjoy plenty of variety in working with doctors and health professionals, you will provide high-quality administrative support to the teams for processing applications in-line with GMC procedures. We have a number of positions available in the following teams:

Specialist Applications
Revalidation
Voluntary Erasure, Restoration and Licensing (VERL)

What are we looking for?

Administrative experience with attention to detail and good prioritisation skills. A confident communicator who can build strong relationships with people, you should also be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.

Summary of responsibilities

Prioritise applications and meet deadlines to keep within the agreed key performance indicators and service level agreements
Take responsibility for more complex enquires from time to time, including those from external stakeholders
To prepare appropriate and timely responses to doctors, stakeholders and third parties by phone and produce written correspondence
To support internal partners within the GMC with their queries and processes

This is a hybrid role with a minimum one day a week in the office required. You will be expected in the office more during induction and training for the role and may need to come into the office on other days depending on business needs.

This is a full-time role (35 hours Monday to Friday). We are happy to consider a range of flexible working options. Flexible working requests will be considered in line with the policy.

Appointable Pool
